I still have 0.95.0 on my production DAW. Looking at the CVS at sourceforge
the latest revision to the compressor I could see was in 2004, which said
it's using IIR biquads for the crossover. That would mean no pre-ringing.
It's possible I just didn't like the sound of multi-band compression on
the material I was working on of course. (I actually only use it if a mix
is broken badly enough to need it).
