Category: Frontends (lame/mp3x/...) Group: Usability >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: JMcAtee (jmcatee) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Add support for TXXX frame tagging Initial Comment: It's not possible to add TXXX (user defined text information) ID3v2 frames via the LAME command line. See the following Hydrogen Audio discussion: http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=72221#entry636912 A TXXX frame has an identifier of TXXX, with a description and value separated by a $00 byte. http://id3.org/id3v2.3.0#head-29e37534e169ad913deb6a4fee345028f3db7c3f My suggestion is to add a -tx option with the same syntax as -tv. Instead of creating a frame with identifier 'Description', this would create a TXXX frame. --tx "<Description>=<Value>" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Robert Hegemann (robert) Date: 2011-10-04 06:50 Message: The sysntax to add a TXXX frame with 3.99 is: --tv "TXXX=<Description>=<Value>" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=350290&aid=3117839&group_id=290 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Try before you buy = See our experts in action!
