I'm guessing you are saying that you are getting pop-up ads at random, maybe 
ads for some audio utility that incorporates LAME? 

Since LAME is a free, high quality encoder with a good reputation, it's 
popular and is something that a lot of format-converter programs use. These 
programs are the kind of thing that are advertised, but whatever ads you are 
seeing can't actually be for LAME itself. LAME is not a commercial product 
that would be appearing in ads. It's also not the kind of thing you install 
like a regular Windows app. It's 1. a command-line program that you run from a 
console window (a "command shell" or "DOS" window); and it is also 2. a 
library (a program component) used by other apps. In fact, it's only 
"officially" distributed as source code; the actual code that runs is only 
available from unofficial builds from third parties.

Anyway, it sounds like you have some kind of virus or other malware (maybe 
something that was surreptitiously installed with some other "free" software) 
that is causing these ads to appear. You definitely shouldn't be seeing any 
popups when you visit YouTube. So, assuming you're on Windows, I would start 
by running Microsft Safety Scanner: 
<http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx> (it's free) and 
if that doesn't help, go on to whatever anti-malware, anti-virus software you 
have access to.
