Certain web pages cause a Lame MP3 pop-up box to appear in the top left corner of IE10; looking it up online, some have said sites with specific sound files that play, cause it, but I haven't experienced that-I actually get it when accessing a web-app hosted on an internal server with no sound associated. It is incredibly annoying as you cannot proceed to the page without clicking the 'ok' button on the lame pop-up. It did NOT show as an add-on in IE that I could disable, so I was forced to uninstall the Lame component of the Windows7CodecPack that I have installed (www.windows7codecs.com<http://www.windows7codecs.com>). Perhaps it is an issue with their package and not your codec pack in this case, but I saw others reporting it that did not use this particular codec pack.
