I played around with the settings in the menu and changed it to  
trunk/lame. This doesn't change something for the snapshot, it changes  
the command line displayed to checkout.

This seems to be the SVN-default, not something specific to SF.
Please try again. Delete of the log should not work, changing the log  
should work. Any other revprop change (date, author, ...) is not  
allowed.
