IMO that would be very bad not to use directories because it's available=20 (almost) everywhere. And can be used to extend names at no cost instead=20 of having all files in the root. That's quickly unreadable... Also I=20 don't see the point of not using spaces. All modern OS support it, and=20 the others have workarounds. On DOS having no space will not prevent you=20 from having to use 8.3 names to have something readable. IMO that's a=20 legacy that can be left out. http://mpc.corecodec.org
