I copied all (8) the problematic tracks to a separate directory (in order to avoid having to work on my full collection) and I ran the direct command in the unzipped directory against this new directory. It worked. The client calls the extractor (at least, I guess it does, because it sure takes it's time getting to the next track and I see a happy emoticon on the left). I can't find any log file, though. Another thing which could be changed for the Windows version: remove escape sequences: those don't work natively in Windows. 2014-10-28 16:01 GMT+01:00 Alastair Porter <[email protected]>: > As a solution to this problem until we fix it for windows, you should be > able to run the extractor without running the `python setup.py install` > command. > Therefore, you can change directory to the acousticbrainz-client-master > folder, and run: > python abzsubmit <directory> > > I've not tested this on windows myself, so it would be great to have some > feedback on it. > > Alastair > > On Mon, Oct 27, 2014 at 10:48 PM, Frederic Da Vitoria <[email protected] > > wrote: > >> >> 2014-10-25 0:42 GMT+02:00 Robert Kaye <[email protected]>: >> >>> Hello! >>> >>> We’re finally happy with the extractor binaries for windows.
