Yup - the search server is not compiling properly using the current instructions, even in Ubuntu. The build of the Musicbrainz server, on an ubuntu box (14.04.2 LTS), failed with a compilation error, maybe even before your error showed up. Here's the transcript below - if anybody could shed a light, I'd be very grateful. [please see attached script output file named 'typescript' and search for 'COMPILATION ERRORS' ] Thanks for any help! -D ---- On Sat, 28 Feb 2015 14:15:33 -0500 Neal Piche<[email protected]> wrote ---- I am running into problems getting musicbrainz server to run after following the instructions in install.md. I am on a mac, I get the error in the subject line when running "plackup -Ilib -r”. When I try to run LoadReplicationChanges I get: Use of uninitialized value $iSchemaSequence in integer eq (==) at ./admin/replication/LoadReplicationChanges line 137. Use of uninitialized value $iSchemaSequence in printf at ./admin/replication/LoadReplicationChanges line 139. Sat Feb 28 12:12:50 2015 : Schema sequence mismatch - codebase is 21, database is 0 it seems to me that both scripts are using the same method to connect to the database and for some reason see it as blank. I have used psql to verify that the database is indeed intact. I did an import of the Feb 18th full export minus the edit file. Please let me know what I might be missing or how to continue troubleshooting. I have tried redoing this many times with the same result. _______________________________________________ MusicBrainz-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.musicbrainz.org/mailman/listinfo/musicbrainz-devel _______________________________________________ MusicBrainz-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.musicbrainz.org/mailman/listinfo/musicbrainz-devel
