There was a gentleman a while back that was having problems with this and I did not see an answer to his email, I am not saying there wasn't one just that I did not see it. His complaint was that he had this working but it would corrupt some of his mp3's so that they were not playable. I think he had even said in his email that some of his mp3's were deleted this can't be can it? I would like to try it out but a little skepitcal. I think I will take an older box I have laying around quad pentium pro 200 with 512meg of mem and install netjuke on it with FreeBSD 5.0 and copy some of my mp3's to test on that box. > ID3/Ogg write-back requires you to do a couple of things. > > 1) Turn on the 'Edit Media' option in content preferences > 2) Make sure all your media files are writable by the web server > 3) Make sure there is a copy of oggcomment in your lib/adodb/ directory. > The installer tries to do this for you, but ya never know ;) (You may > have to download the ogg vorbis tools to get this) > 4) Edit the media with the batch editor or the track info and the tracks > will have their comments/tags matched with the database > > Blake > > At 09:45 AM 3/11/2003 -0500, Jim Howarth wrote: >>Uhm.. did I read things wrong here?
