If this does get added, I'd like to see some options for the feature. Mainly because I've already been building my cover image database, and I'm sure others have too, and I KNOW we've been doing it differently. I'm going to state how I've been doing it, and I suggest anyone else that has been collecting cover images for their mp3 cd sets to do the same, this should either allow for flexibility in the covers setup or it will aid in the development of a standard way for netjuke to support covers. So, I do it as so- I use Tag and Rename to save the images from Allmusic.com in the "cover-%1-%3.jpg" format, so it'll come out to cover-artist-album.jpg I then save them into two directories... one for my personal cd's and another for cd's I've ripped or downloaded. so, in theory, the way I'd like to see it done is that you can add 1 or more directories to the cover search path, then the cover art files get parsed according to the user definition(so I'd parse for, say cover-%1-%2 as described above). I also think there should be a mode where it will look in the same folder as the mp3's for their cover art(for people that do it this way). Now, this leads to something I've been advocating for a while, when searching, instead of displaying all tracks in an album, album after album(for searches other than track searches), display just the artist and the album title, then have check boxes next to each result. The user can then select just the album(which will go on to show the tracks in that album) or just the artist(which will go on to show all albums by that artist in the same format). The checkboxes could also be checked, and a button(show tracks or something like that) can be clicked and all tracks for those albums will be displayed(like it is now). This, to me makes more sense than the current version. Maybe even a per-user preference to select this method or the original method. Those are my ideas for now, I'm starting to come up with my concept for the netjuke-box application my friend will be writing with me, if anyone has any requests or ideas for this application, feel free to email me and or the list, eventually we'll setup a sourceforge page for the project. -- Steven Adeff AOLIM:"IndieRockSteve" Those who can think, do; those who cannot, dress funny.
