I am a stupid can someone help me.

I havent Used Netjuke in a while, and so now I am reinstalling it on a new system. But I seem to be having a problem connecting to the db. Its just a MySQL db with what I think are default settings, atleast I havent change them, but it is a redhat 8.0 system. But I get a popup window with this in it:

Cannot connect to the database using the provided information. ($dbconn->PConnect)

And then in the browser window it says:

Warning: Lost connection to MySQL server during query in /var/www/html/netjuke/lib/adodb/drivers/adodb-mysql.inc.php on line 229

I have tried using both http://127.0.0.1 and http://192.168.1.100 , and with out the "HTTP". I am most likely just missing one little piece of info that needs to be turned on. If someone could either answer this for me, or point me to the right place to look thanks.
