I can't really see that happening just yet. I think they'd wait until
they have their Memory Stick Pro established before so they have
something for customers to buy. I also can't see them giving such a
short time. Maybe they'll just reduce the number produced. Maybe it's
worth contacting Sony about. I'll do it if people want.

someone seems to have insider information from a sony engineer 
(the source does not want to be named) that sony plans to stop 
producing md devices at the end of 2003
