omg file by e-mail, can it be played on another computer?

I'm asking because sony has released a portable cd player that can play 
atrac(plus) files (mp3 too).  so if the encryption is computer 
specific, therefore the key has to be provided on the data disc 
containing the omg file. or maybe it will be another file type, with no 
encryption...
