its an ok overview of MagicGate and a bit about how it ties to OpenMG, 
at the end it shows the internals(highish level) of the MagicGate and 
where it lies on the memory stick, it has a dedicated encryption circuit 
that lies between two FIFO buffers that just keep the data in sync. Not 
to mention it has a second "Authentication Circuit"

I believe this was published before anything else supported MagicGate 
which is why it seems to only talk about the stick, the theory of course 
should be the same.
