About the Figuration and Parameter Chord functionality

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to enhance the zh_CN translation of Rosegarden, however I
found the functionality related to Figuration and Parameter Chord
totally not documented and I cannot deduce its behavior based on trial-
and-error.

Could anyone describe it and make me understand this functionality
better?

Before this I think I could only translate these words literally...
