   Can you provide more details on this?  Which MIDI and ALSA tabs are 
these?  Are they in Rosegarden?  Someplace else?

   That's good to know.  I've kind of skipped over external hardware 
synths for this round.  It probably needs to be expanded to include a 
more complete example.

   Did they not act this way before?  How did they act before?  Which 
version was better at this?  23.12?  This might be a bug that was 
introduced at some point and I'd like to track it down and fix it if 
possible.
