Ok, I added your suggestions. There's a new "JACK Transport Sync" section in the Ardour 8.12 section that explains how to get JACK transport sync working. https://www.rosegardenmusic.com/wiki/doc:creating_a_mixdown#jack_transport_sync Session templates are mentioned at the end.
