xspeakfree GUI runnable on Linux and *BSD from konvalo.org

Xspeakfree - a simple and convenient GUI for speak-freely
is runnable from Konvalo.org on Linux and *BSD.

Please report any problems to me.

It assumes full duplex audio drivers.
In case anybody is interested, I'll provide a version for half-duplex drivers
as well.

Konvalo.org's version is based on xspeakfree 0.8.2 but patched
to include support for CELP and also launches sfspeaker with -fa argument
for automatic rate adjustment.

It is also fixed against insecure temporary files usage.

I suggest that the patched version would be maintained at
speak-freely.sourceforge as 0.8.3 as I am not aware of any other
package maintainer, except FreeBSD and NetBSD ports.
Those are at the best of my knowledge at 0.8.2 - though they may include
useful patches as well.
