Johannes:
: Did you watch out for error
: messages (in /var/log/messages)
: or elsewhere ?
No. Not sure where to watch. The /var/log/messages, messages.1, and message.2
appear limited to (my) ssh logins, etc. Nothing relating to sfreflect that I
can see.
: Is it exactly 12 hours ? Then i would suspect
: a coding error.
Not sure if it is consistantly a particular time period. I used the Binary
version of SFREFLECT, however. I have not devised a method to know when it
shuts down.
: If not, if would suspect a memory leak. You
: could monitor
: memory usage with the top command (using the
: batch option
: as a cron job every hour.
Thanks for the hint. I will pursue this. Here is the latest (partial) TOP
data; the actv field seems to increment constantly when SSH'ing, but can drop
as well.
TOP did help me find the %RAM useage issue you see here though....hope the
formatting is readable.
