If you can get local loopback to work, but no response from an echo
server, assuming the server is working, it is almost always a firewall
issue. Are you behind a NAT router which gives each computer its own IP
address like 192.168.0.1? If so, that router needs to be able to forward
ports 2074 through 2076 in and out.
