Sounds like a NAT (Network Address Translation) or firewall problem now.
You'll have to configure your firewall or NAT software to forward the
appropriate TCP/IP ports to your SF machine.
If you don't know how to configure your firewall/NAT and still want to
experiment, you might want to try communicating with machines on your local
LAN.
