I tried Skype with Windows-98 and it works fine with that OS too.
However personally I use it with Windows XP-Pro.

Since I encountered lately increasing problems with voice using the
latest MSN messenger, due to NAT-, proxy- and firewall-problems I
switched to Skype and had no problems anymore.
The main reason for the voice communication problems is, that the other
parties I am talking with do not know how to bypass the NAT- and
firewall-problems. The same is true for SF unfortunately, which I can
only use with people who know how to change port settings in their
proxy-server and/or firewall.
