A happy new year to all.
Well, with only ten days of life left in one of the most ausome programs of voice
chat to ever hit the net thus far, I see it necessary to post a question to the list.
A few of you have spoken of plans to continue the work on speak freely, but as far
as I know, no full decisions have as yet been posted.
I am concerned for the availability of lwl servers in the coming retirment of
speakfreely.
So far, I have tested the itre server and it seems to be functional.
Would anybody care to share their knowledge of other servers which could
potentially handle the load currently handled by fourmilab?
At the moment, I am in a limited position as I do not have the facilities to host one
myself, and I would bolunteer to do so immediately were they available.
So,, hoping for the best, I will wish you a good year, and wish speakfreely a good
retirement, and hopefully a short one at that.
Frank.
