Sent this and never got it on the ML so sorry if dup. Playing a little more I found root doesn't have the segfault. Rights accessing something? File rights for MyMusic are fine. File->Search works fine. just doing ./configure --enable-debug. Have esd and id3lib that is found. What part do you want? Root working makes me think of a rights problem though.
