I'll keep that in mind, but I would be modifying the main
sources so they certainly would be required headers/libraries.

I do not believe that Gtk is actually required for zinf.
Maybe the autocnf/makefiles have to be tweaked a bit so that 
the --dsiable-gtk works again, but that is probably all.
