I know. Nevertheless thanks. :)  I've just compiled it. At last!

Kristian,  zinf looks pretty nice now.  But russian doesn't work 
now. Only if I run it as LC_ALL=ru_RU.UTF-8 zinf. So I'll 
continue to translate but, please, try to fix it.

Otherwise (KOI8-R locale) there're blanks everywhere and squares 
in some places.
If I run zinf from console emulator I see something like
