Uh, try simply doing a make clean and then make again and review the
message output.  No, make doesn't stop but I did notice the messages
saying "files exist" when doing a 'ln -s' on several plugins.  Perhaps
'make clean' doesn't clear out the links created by a previous 'ln -s'?
