this is after the error is reported?   since this is the first thing 
attempted to compile i'll take it as a autoconf generation error. If 
libtool is in the top level zinf directory after running autogen.sh then 
i have no idea what's going on.  If it doesn't get put there, then we 
have a problem with your setup.  Either a version discrepency or 
assumptions on our part that are incorrect or perhaps suse is just being 
dumb.
