Re: Zinf Status

Well.. things have been moving slowly.  Everybody is a volunteer, and
real work just tends to keep getting in the way :)  We are currently
trying to get win32 support back to the level of linux.   If you could
lend a hand, it would be appreciated.   Most of the developers have
their own pet projects to add/remove to/from zinf.

I, for one, do look at feature requests, especially when deciding how
to make zinf more extensible/usable for everybody.

Alot of  feature requests are stagnant because there just isn't anybody
with time to add them currently.   Please send patches.

Ideas are always welcome, but code is even more appreciated.

Below is the current plan from my point of view:
Work has begun on many of these items and is continuing.
Most of this work has been done for the linux version,
and we will have to see how many of the GUI enhancements
can be brought over to the win32 side.   Several developers
have mused about adding a gui component based on a cross-platform
windowing tool kit such as wxwindows.  This is a goal for 
a point release after the 2.3.
