Configuring a Checked out Zinf

I just successfully checked out a zinf module but there is no
configure script.  Do I have to autogen something? if so, what params
do I use? When I ran autogen.sh with no params, I got a configure
script but there was a whole bunch of warnings and errors and when I
did a diff between this one and the original configure in zinf-2.2.4,
the resulting differences was HUGE!  What should I do here? can I just
use the configure out of 2.2.4 without any problems?
