Hello, I am having the same problem with Zinf 2.2.1 on both my home machine (Win98, dial-up) and at work (Win95, broadband) -- with streaming from Shoutcast.com I've used Zinf 2.2 at home for some month for playing MP3 and had no problem; recently I upgraded to 2.2.1 at home and got 2.2.1 for my desktop at work, and tried experimenting with streaming, i.e., with "internet radio". According to the FAQ at zinf.org, two sites are given for listening to streams: icecast.org and shoutcast.com When I tried shoutcast.com at home, either clicking on "play" or "copy link location" and then pasting into "open URL" in Zinf, I got "buffering..skipped corrupted file" Eventually I got some playing...but modem connection wasn't enough to keep up (4 second of music, 5 second of buffering, ad infinitum) Today at work, this time using Mozilla rather than opera, and apparently with different defaults, I was offered to open the stream with RealPlayer. When I did, I could hear the internet radio station fine! But, a) I'm hoping to eventually switch to linux an don't want to rely on how much support Real Networks will give to that platform; and b) want to support and use open source as much as possible, so would really like to use Zinf. But when I told Mozilla where Zinf is and asked it to open the stream with Zinf, I got the same: "skipping corrupted file". I hope you can help -- don't like joining lists and joined this one out of determination to be able to learn how to make Zinf work -- any ideas?
