Re: Installing Zinf 2.2 on redhat 8.0

I had some problems compiling zinf on RedHat 8.0 too, but now its
working. try the following:

unpack musicbrainz-1.1.0 and compile it with
#./configure
#make
#su
#make install
#ldconfig

now get zinf-2.2.3.tar.gz from
http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/zinf/

unpack it
#tar -yxvf zinf-2.2.3.tar.gz

now you have to change something in the code:
in the file
./zinf-2.2.3/plm/metadata/id3lib/id3lib.cpp
there is

#include <id3/tag.h>

change it to

#include "tag.h"

now compile zinf

#./configure
#make
su
#make install

for me it worked this way...
