I was using version 2.2.5 which I have uninstalled using RpmDrake so that I can compile it from source after applying the patch. The problem I encountered is that I don't actually know how to apply the patch to the source code. I cut and paste the text of the patch into a new file (I called it zinf-patch). I then unpacked the zinf source code archive, cd'd into the zinf-2.2.5 directory and typed: patch -i zinf-patch From my understanding of the man page for the patch command this should have worked but I'm obviousley doing something wrong as this didn't apply the patch. How do I go about applying this patch?
