Since I have taken it upon myself to criticise ... certain people hereabouts ... for running off at the mouth I need to face up to the fact that I have done the same myself. In an earlier message I wrote: >I am normally a Mac user but acquired an out-of-the box PC running >Windows XP in order to evaluate some programs for teaching >chemistry. This machine has no Real Audio or Windows Media s/w >installed yet Zinf behaved exactly as described by Glenn below when >I tried to use it to download E-music albums. This was, at least partially, nonsense. My out-of -the-box PC *does* have Windows Media player installed - as I would have noticed had I bothered to look. Whether the player is responsible for the Zinf problems I know not - but clearly I should stop pontificating about things happening on PCs when I don't even know what software is installed.
