Re: My Zinf just died - any alternative?

I have been having the same problem with both the Zinf and Emusic versions
of this program. I also tried RealmusicJukebox which can download rmp
streams but it does not have a pause/resume function which is essential to
me. You can have a look at it at real.com

Another option is to trick the download process at emusic.com to display the
actual URL of the file you want to download. Press down the shift key and
click on the file link (the green "arrow") so that a new window opens (this
works for IE). When the browser tries to connect to the download source,
cancel the connection attempt with the Stop button - now the redirect URL
that starts with http://tip.emusic.com.......... changes to the actual URL
which is located at mp3.com

You can now copy and paste this URL into any download manager such as
Getright. When you get the hang of it, it is quick and simple, although not
as easy as using Zinf of course.
