Solved the problem thusly -- I ran regedit and removed all the referencest to both Zinf and Freeamp that the unistall program had left behind. Then I did a clean install back into my C drive as the program had been unhappy being installed into D. Works now. Whew. > I had to uninstall Zinf in order to shift it to a different drive.
