Have you run the recopmmended btape tests?

also, I wonder why you have set the VoluneCapacity directive, and not 
MaximumBlockSize... that seems peculiar.

Also, what do you refer to here:

Can you show us the actual bconsole output?

Unfortunately, I don't really understand which packages you use as the 
current Ubuntu 24.04 packages seem to have btape in the bacula-sd 
package, and for 22.04 I only see bacula-doc, so there must be something 
peculiar.
