Sorry for the delay in reply.

I am unable to record videos when running the breve 2.2 GUI version on 
Windows XP.

I also have the previous version breve 2.1 which does not have the GUI 
interface as in the latest 2.2 version of breve. I am able to record the 
movies of my simulation in the previous version. But the latest version 
gives me the error I mentioned in my previous message.

I downloaded the breve software from the following url
http://www.spiderland.org/breve/download.php and I downloaded the file named 
breveIDE_windows_2.2 .

If you need anything else, please let me know.
