Hi, I've recently started using breve for a cockroach walking simulation. Thanks to Jon for writing this program, it's saved me much time I would have spent duplicating his work. I'm also thankful for the steve programming language, which I've picked up remarkably quickly. I have run in to some issues though, which might be due to my lack of knowledge. Are the following things possible in steve: 1) declare variables anywhere in a function, not just at the top 2) switch statements 3) using random[1.0] to set the members of a matrix or list of numbers to some value (0-1.0) All three of these would simplify my code. Does steve allow them? -Alex Rubinsteyn _______________________________________________ breve mailing list [email protected] http://lists.spiderland.org/mailman/listinfo/breve
