I personally liked simulating the sensor network using these classes. There are a lot of functionalities in these classes which makes it easy to program once you get the hang of it. Getting a hang of working with the patch classes is initially a little difficult. Hopefully the code attached should help you. The code attached is actually my MSc thesis work titled "Implementation of Path Finding Techniques in Homeland Security Robots". I had actually simulated an Ad-hoc sensor network in breve and implemented path finding algorithms in this network. The code would not compile since I have made a few changes to the braitenberg class files and the patch class. Let me know if you are interested in an executable version. I will make the modifications so that it can compile with the latest version of breve. You could look at the last class(LifePatch) which shows how the patches can be used in breve. But there is more to the use of patches in this project and you are most welcome to go through the whole code at your leisure. I personally find it very difficult to understand somebody else's code:-) So you are most welcome to clarify things with me. Also I would be interested to know more about the work you are actually doing on sensor networks.
