Hi Jan,
can you tell me what version of ffmpeg you're using?  When I apply your
patch, it no longer compiles for me on OS X using "0.4.9-pre1" (a  
version
number which I'm sure they've used for more than one release).

I haven't tried updating my ffmpeg build here recently, but in the past,
the different versions of ffmpeg have been so bizarrely different that
nothing works between two versions -- functions and data structures
change unexpectedly.
