Understood. The mail interface is the other component (pop and imap
especially) that must be tested in real life before 2.0.0 is released.

I don't see that happening unless people really start deploying and
testing the items that I mentioned in the 2.0.0 release. I can mark
the rest interface as experimental, but broken email, command line and
web interfaces are show stoppers. Surprisingly automated testing for
the rest interface is better then the testing for any of the three key
interfaces.

I am still a single point of failure in the release sequence. Nobody
else was interested in looking over my shoulder for (or doing) the
2.0.0alpha release. I can't commit to releasing a broken 2.0.0, being
the only person to fix bugs and and doing more releases in any sort of
timely fashion.

Thanks for running the tracker on the latest code and testing the
upgrade instructions. That helps move us along at least.
