Manging forward and reverse links

Hi all:

If you are working with an issue, it is easy to add/remove links from
the issue to other issues by simply editing the link entry.

However what I want to do is the reverse: edit links from other issues
that point to my current issue. I want to do it while changing my
current issue and not have to load the other issues.

Does anybody have any code that creates an editing widget (similar to
using the .field() function in tal) and provides the function to
delete the remote links?

When editing issue 7, I envision something like:

  superseder:  1 2 3

  superseded by: 10 22 13

where adding 12 to "superseded by" will add issue 7 to issue 12's
"superseder" property and removing issue 22 from "superseded by" will
remove issue 7 from issue 22's "superseder" link.

Sadly these elements up a fair amount of space, and I had thought of
making the superseder entry field do double duty by using special
formatting on the entries.

Putting:

  +(12) and -(22)

in the superseder field will do the same things as above to issues 12
and 22. I figure the + and - for adding/removing is similar to the
method you would use for changing properties on the subject line. I
chose () to indicate a different operation because they are easily
access from my standard android keyboard where [] and {} and <> are
buried on another screen or are missing entirely.

So does anybody have any thoughts, ideas, concepts, methods or working
code for dealing with this issue?
