Sounds interesting, integrating this would require a regression test
similar to the other backends, see test/db_test_base.py which runs the
same tests for each backend.

I guess the FirebirdSQL backend is available for other platforms too
(not just windows)? I would need to incorporate this into my tests on
Linux.
