look at the test code. There are some simple tests that check indexing, clone 
it and add more to it, as needed.

It would be most helpful if you would produce a testfunction that fails
because this would allow better debugging. You ca file it as an issue with 
usas well. (There used to be some indexing problems a while ago, but I'm not 
sure if we have generic ones right now.)
