Hi Bernhard, thank you for your time. I tried to replicate the installation on a different machine, using exactly the same database, and it's working fine. RoundUP is installed from pip package, so both machines have the same version. However, one is an IA-64 machine running Debian, while the other is an x86-64 VM runining Ubuntu. I wonder if xapian on debian-ia64 may be broken? However, I will try to create test scripts to reproduce the bug on the IA-64 machine, and check if they run on the amd64 machine. If both will fail I will open an issue on RoundUp, otherwise I will open an issue on the debian website, but since the IA-64 architecture has been discontinued I don't think they will fix it...
