how to retire an issue?

Hello, I have trackers on two machines, one of which is old (version 1.0) and the other newer (1.5). In the old tracker, I can retire an issue (that I created) by going to (i.e) http://myurl.tld/issue1039?@action=retire In the new tracker, if I go to the equivalent URL, again for an issue that I created, I get the error "Invalid request". How do I retire an issue in Roundup 1.5? One thing that may be significant; the new tracker is not set up as a CGI script but is served through WSGI.
