No, the opening '(' is on the line above.

In your tracker create a 'locale' directory and there you create a de.po
(and compiled de.mo) file with overrides. I'm using this for *new*
translations in my own templates but have never tried to override
existing translations. So let us know if the works or doesn't work for
you.
