Empty dropdowns

I'm using Roundup 1.6 and have no problems on windows 10. Some users have reported that in a particular tracker on a mac (any browser) some (not all) of the dropdown and multi-select fields are empty. Doing a 'view source', the <select> ...</select> HTML that defines those fields has no menu items. This probably isn't a roundup issue, but I thought someone might have experienced this problem or might have an idea on what I can try next.
