The only patch I can see that might apply is: b78c45828e42 from Nov 29
2021.

Ralf is this patch likely to fix Nagy's issue? It's a couple of months
after Nagy's original email in August.

Nagy you could try downloading the current development tip and run it
against a test case to see if it fixes the issue. If so we have the
answer. If not you can supply a minimal test case that shows the issue.
